Job Title: Senior Technical Support Engineer - Windows Admin
Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Active Directory Administrator with strong expertise in designing, managing, and supporting Microsoft Active Directory environments. The role focuses on identity and access management, directory services, and security, while also providing secondary support for Microsoft Exchange On‑Premises and Exchange Online in a hybrid enterprise environment
Qualification: Graduation
Certification: Microsoft certifications (Exchange, Microsoft 365, Windows Server)
Experience:
- 7–10+ years total IT experience
- 5+ years hands-on, Microsoft Exchange Online and Exchange On‑Premises
Responsibilities:
Active Directory Administration (Primary Focus)
- Administer, maintain, and support Active Directory (AD DS) in multi-domain and multi-forest environments
- Manage user, group, and computer accounts, OU structures, and delegation models
- Design, implement, and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs) in line with organizational standards
- Manage and troubleshoot DNS, AD replication, and domain controller health
- Perform AD migrations, domain upgrades, forest trusts, and domain controller deployments
- Implement identity and access management (IAM) best practices
- Monitor AD security, audit logs, and support compliance requirements
- Troubleshoot complex authentication and authorization issues
- Support AAD Connect / Entra ID Connect synchronization and hybrid identity scenarios
Windows Server (Directory Services Support)
- Manage Windows Servers hosting Active Directory and related services
- Perform server patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance
- Monitor performance, availability, and capacity of directory services
- Troubleshoot OS-level issues impacting identity services
- Exchange Administration (Secondary Skillset)
- Provide operational support for Exchange On‑Premises and Exchange Online environments
- Manage mailboxes, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, and mail-enabled objects
- Support Exchange Hybrid configurations and integration with Active Directory
- Assist with Exchange migrations and mailbox moves
- Troubleshoot mail flow, authentication, and directory-related Exchange issues
Operations & Support
- Handle incidents, service requests, and problems within defined SLAs
- Participate in change management and planned maintenance activities
- Document configurations, procedures, and operational runbooks
- Collaborate with MSP teams, security teams, and application owners
- Provide on-call or after-hours support as required
Mandatory:
- Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory (AD DS) administration
- In-depth knowledge of Group Policies, DNS, LDAP, and AD replication
- Experience managing multi-domain / hybrid identity environments
- Working knowledge of Exchange Online and Exchange On‑Premises
- Good understanding of Windows Server administration
- PowerShell scripting skills for AD and Exchange administration
- Experience troubleshooting identity and directory-related issues
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a production environment
